2 Overview
Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park Day Admission
Just 50 minutes from central Melbourne, Moonlit Sanctuary is the ideal place to learn more about the fascinating animals that call Australia home with their free keeper presentations and shows every 30 minutes.
Feed the Wallabies
Hand feed kangaroos and wallabies as you take a stroll through the Wallaby Walk. There are friendly free-roaming wallabies, kangaroos and pademelons for you to meet. Purchase a container of animal food at the ticket box (at own expense), gift shop or kiosk and you can hand feed the kangaroos and wallabies. The macropods are very friendly and will gently nibble at the food from your hand.
Please be aware that on extremely hot days, just like us, the animals can be a bit sleepy and not feel very hungry.
Conservation in Action Wildlife Show
Learn about conserving the native wildlife as you watch their clever antics in this 20 minute display in the Conservation in Action wildlife show. Watch animals such as a dingoes, spot-tailed quolls, barn owls, barking owls, cockatoos or tawny frogmouths as they go about their training and are rewarded for their natural behaviour, such as climbing, or flying point to point. More than just entertaining, the keeper provides lots of insightful details about the different species and their conservation status.
This educational wildlife show is on every day at 2:20pm in the show arena. Seats are limited, so get there early to ensure you don't miss out. The gates close promptly at 2:30pm and, for the safety of the animals, late-comers are unable to enter.
